Let’s Go Dutch! Book Your Flight To Curaçao

A, B, C ... listening attentively!

The Dutch islands have always felt astronomically out of reach even though they’re right next door!

(We aren’t joking. Literally right next door.)

Normally, you’d have to fly up to Miami, then come all the way back down. Back in the day, there was a path through Trinidad… not anymore.

But now… Curaçao is right within your grasp!

Thanks to COPA Airlines, we can go Dutch in a way that makes a whole lot more sense.

This is NOT a direct flight. We repeat… this is NOT a direct flight!

Leaving Barbados on Wednesdays and Saturdays, around 3:00pm, this 2 ½ hour flight takes you straight to Panama City where you’ll overnight.

If you’ve never been to Panama, you’ll definitely be in for a treat. This spectacular city is one to be explored, offering a vast array of bars, discos and amazing food spots.

Then it’s off to Curaçao!

The flight leaves the following morning (remember, that’s Thursday or Sunday) at 9:00am, and by lunchtime you’ve touched down in Willemstad.

For the next few days explore this unforgettable island where you will see firsthand what it means when they say “Curaçao, Feel It For Yourself.”

Returning to Barbados requires another overnight in Panama. Our flights out of Curaçao leave on Tuesday and Sunday afternoon, just before 1:30pm, and arrive in Panama City 2 hours later.

Did we mention that Panama City is like the Miami of Central America? So if shopping is your thing… go to town! (Well… the mall, but you know what we mean.)

Ships in Panama Canal Miraflores Visitor Centre

You can also venture to the Miraflores Locks to see the Panama Canal in action or link up with a local guide for a tour of the city. Whatever you choose, we’re sure you’ll have a blast!

On the final leg of your trip, Wednesday or Saturday morning, you will depart Tocumen Airport around 9:30am for touchdown back at Grantley Adams just before 2:00pm.

So there it is, two destinations in one trip.

Things to remember when booking this flight:

Set your departure day for either a Wednesday or Saturday and your return day for a Tuesday or Friday.

If your return day is set to Friday, for example, you’ll arrive back in Barbados on the Saturday COPA flight.
