The Atlantis Historic Inn is an elegant historic property dating back to the 1800s. This boutique Barbados hotel is located in the quaint fishing village of Tent Bay, St. Joseph overlooking the spectacular Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantis Historic Inn was one of the first hotels to exist on the East Coast of Barbados. This was made possible by the new railway line that was constructed in 1883 which lead to the East Coast (Belleplaine area). Prior to the completion of the Barbados railway, travelling across this beautiful tropical island Enjoy nature walks along the old, railway track, hike through the clay hills, surf the world class break at Soup Bowl or explore the nearby botanical gardens. The Restaurant at The Atlantis Historic Inn (ON SITE) - Caribbean and International
Reservations are strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment. For hotel guests, a Room Service Delivery Menu is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays where you can order dinner as needed. These meals can be enjoyed in our Guest Lounge on the ground floor. For late guest arrivals, we also have a special Room Service Menu which is available. Our famous West Indian Sunday Buffet Lunch which is very popular with locals and visitors is currently suspended and will resume on November 21, 2021. The second and last Sunday Breakfast Buffet resumes November 28th, 2021. The menu is varied and offers authentic Bajan and Caribbean cuisine using fresh local ingredients prepared by our culinary team.
Communal Guest Kitchen and Lounge (ON SITE)
We have recently added a brand new communal and fully-equipped guest kitchen on the ground floor and guest lounge. This space is exclusively for use by our hotel guests to prepare and enjoy their own meals. Fancy fine dining? You can also arrange meals from our restaurant during opening hours and have them served in the private lounge area, away from the main restaurant. This kitchen and lounge is accessible 24 hours a day.
